Overview:

A reputable construction company is seeking a skilled and experienced Dumper Driver to join their project team on the Isle of Grain. This role is essential for the smooth operation and timely completion of construction projects. The successful candidate will have a valid Dumper Ticket and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate dumper trucks safely and efficiently on construction sites.
  • Transport materials and equipment as required.
  • Assist with loading and unloading materials.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on the dumper truck and report any issues.
  • Follow site safety protocols and regulations at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members and site supervisors to meet project deadlines.
  • Assist with general groundworks and site tasks when needed.

Requirements:

  • Valid Dumper Ticket.
  • Proven experience operating dumper trucks on construction sites.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labour tasks when required.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional construction-related certifications or training.
  • Experience in general groundworks and labouring.
