Responsibilities
Prepare and cook meals in accordance with dietary requirements and individual preferences.
Plan and develop menus to ensure a varied and nutritious offering.
Monitor and maintain stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations, including proper storage and disposal of food.
Collaborate with care staff to ensure individual dietary needs and preferences are met.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, following sanitation standards.
Assist in the training and supervision of kitchen staff.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Cook, preferably within a healthcare or similar setting.
In-depth knowledge of nutrition, special diets, and food allergies.
Ability to plan and execute menus that are balanced, nutritious, and appealing.
Excellent culinary skills, with a passion for creating flavorful and visually appealing dishes.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Understanding of food safety standards and procedures.
Ability to work well within a team and collaborate with diverse staff members.
Hours Per Week: 22.50
Start Time: 08:30
End Time: 16.00
Pay Per Week: £14.50
