Are you a passionate and adaptable educator looking for a part-time role? We have an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Primary Teacher to join our team as a Part-time PPA Teacher at a vibrant primary school in Burnley.

Position: Part-time PPA Teacher (3 days per week)
Start Date: September 2024
Contract: Initially temporary for one year, with potential for a permanent position from September 2025

Role Overview: As a Part-time PPA Teacher, you will be responsible for covering PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) time for teachers across Years 1 to 6. This role requires flexibility, strong classroom management skills, and the ability to engage students of various ages and abilities. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse group of students and make a significant impact across the school.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across Years 1 to 6 during PPA time
- Implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students across different year groups
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent and cohesive approach to teaching and learning
- Foster strong relationships with students, staff, and the wider school community

Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching across different primary year groups is desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to work with various age groups and subjects
- Commitment to fostering the well-being and academic development of all students
- Enthusiasm for professional development and collaborative working
