Teaching Assistant

The school is looking to appoint committed and enthusiastic individuals to undertake the role of Teaching Assistant. The role will primarily involve supporting students in the classroom, preparing additional resources and delivering personalised intervention programs for key students.
All necessary training will be provided and you will be warmly welcomed into a large diverse team of professionals who work to support students with a variety of additional needs including those with an Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP).
As well as experienced TAs, they are interested in hearing from applicants who may be considering a change in career or would like to gain experience working in the education sector or wish to make a move from a primary to secondary setting.
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
- Location - Macclesfield
- Position -Teaching Assistant
- Start date - ASAP
- Contract type - Temporary
- Full time/part time - Part time and full time depending on schools needs
- Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £95 per day
- Hours - 8:30 am - 4pm (full day), half day (am or pm), individual lesson cover
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
- QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS, teaching assistant qualification or equivalent
- Previous experience working in a UK school
- Transferable career, role or qualifications
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
