Summary
Assistant Headteacher
Location - Alternative provision, Chesterfield S41.
Start date - September 2024
Daily Rate - TBC
About the role - We are looking to recruit a substantially experienced and inspiring senior leader to join an academy based in chesterfield. The role may involve some teaching in the absence of staff members. We are looking for someone who has good knowledge and experience of working with disaffected pupils in a school or alternative provision.
An affinity for pupils with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties is an essential quality for this challenging but rewarding opportunity. All candidates applying for this role should be resilient, hold high expectations and be able to build relationships with disaffected pupils.

Job requirements -
- You must be able to work at pace and line manage a team of staff with high standards and be extremely organised.
- Support students both in school and in their homes on occasion.

- Have your own vehicle with business insurance in place for the start date.
- Must have an enhanced DBS on the update service.
