Summary
Job Title: CAD Technician
Role Objective:
Reporting to the Design Manager, use customised 3D templates to produce architectural floor plans, elevations, sections & 3D views for various applications within the temporary structures industry. Assist in Maintaining and developing a technical component library
Key Responsibilities:
Complete new drawing requests & amendments submitted via the online task list using AutoCAD & Inventor software packages
Assist in measuring and drawing components in Inventor for the new component library.
Liaise with internal Area Sales Managers, Project Managers, Directors and key external customers and suppliers.
Skills & Experience:
Experience using AutoCAD
Experience using Inventor
Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
Good communication skills – both verbal and written.
Ability to manage own workloads & work independently
