Street Scene delivers high standards of grounds maintenance and cleansing across the borough. With modern, efficient working practices, we have a multi-skilled workforce, which delivers an integrated service. We are looking for a committed individual to contribute to the service and further improve the local environmental quality within Tamworth.
As part of Street Scene, you will be required to provide the full range of both grounds maintenance and cleansing duties in accordance with agreed standards of service delivery and customer care. This will include the use and operation of various vehicles (for which a full driving license is essential), plant and equipment - training will be provided.
We are seeking experienced individuals to work alongside an established team, carrying out cleansing and general grounds maintenance specifically on housing areas across the borough.
The successful candidates will need to be committed to improving resident satisfaction and customer expectations across the borough; typical operations will include bin management in the high-rise flats and schemes across the Borough, supporting the existing Housing Maintenance Operative team with the full range of grounds maintenance and cleansing duties (including jet washing and graffiti removal & emptying bins), together with vegetation management and weed control on HRA land.
