Summary
EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL DEVLEOPMENT LEAD | Band 7 £43,742 - £50,056 Per Annum, pro rata The duties and responsibilities will include: Educational Project Development: Research, develop, and implement educational projects aligned with the goals of the Education Team. Learning Opportunities: Collaborate with departmental clinical managers to create and enhance learning opportunities for staff and volunteers. Program Design and Evaluation: Lead the design, provision, and evaluation of essential role and clinical skills programs to support the delivery needs across all clinical teams and services. Training Events: Devise, deliver, and evaluate a range of education and training events, both internally and externally, using diverse teaching and learning approaches. HEI Program Management: Oversee the planning, delivery, and evaluation of Higher Education Institution (HEI) contracted programs for End of Life and Palliative Care. Contributing also to the teaching and assessment of students. Policy Development: Identify and support the creation of educational and learning strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure they are current and responsive to staff needs and patient care requirements. Mentor Support: Implement sustainable support and supervision systems for mentors and supervisors, ensuring the supervision policy is effectively embedded into practice.
