Summary
The Wirral University Teaching Hospital requires volunteers to support a multitude of functions across our sites.
From supporting our clinical areas and providing important administrational support to being a friendly and welcoming face for our patients as a welcomer or supporting our vaccination hub, volunteers play a crucial and important role within the Hospital and are valued and key members of our workforce.

All required training will be provided prior to starting any placement with further sector specific training delivered once you have started.

We are one of the largest and busiest acute Trusts in the North West of England, comprising of the Wirral’s only Emergency Department. The Trust has a variety of volunteer placements, and these will be discussed at the interview stage. After your mandatory training is completed, we will endeavour to match your personal skills and experience to a suitable role as soon as possible.
