Summary

Gedling is an attractive place to live and work, and the Council Offices are situated in a award winning park within walking distance of Arnold Town Centre and easy reach of Nottingham City Centre and rural Nottinghamshire.

You will be dealing with a wide range of planning applications, including Householders, Minors, Listed Building applications and the opportunity to work towards dealing with smaller major applications. There would also, be a need to offer concise pre-application advise and it would be a great opportunity to deal with applications in the Green Belt. The post is 3 days a week.

The successful candidate must be well-organised and self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines. You must also, have excellent communication and negotiation skills and the ability to contribute to a high-quality service to our customers.
