Location: Pembury Offices (Kent) but with significant travel to other sites within Kent, Bexley, East and West Sussex

Contract Duration: Permanent (9-12 months Maternity Cover with an option of permanent employment at Aspens)

Hours of Work: Full-Time

Salary: £26,000-£27,000 per annum

About the Role:




At Aspens we work across Kent and Sussex; supporting individuals with autism spectrum conditions, learning disabilities and
physical disabilities across residential care homes, supported living homes, day services and our fantastic outreach programme.

As part of the Quality & Compliance team and reporting to the Head of Quality & Compliance, the Quality Assurance Lead will
support the quality and compliance of the organisation and the person-centred approach of all staff in the development and
implementation of care services.



The postholder will be accountable for supporting the quality, compliance, improvement and assurance needed to monitor and report
on regulatory and legislative requirements for the Charity ensuring that evidence of this is readily available and accessible, in
line with the Quality Framework and Organisational Strategic Plan.



The Quality Assurance Lead will work closely with all registered managers to identify risks and shortfalls, supporting good
practice and governance and helping to ensure continuous improvement across all services at Aspens. They will also ensure that all
of the people we support are placed at the heart of everything we do by having desired outcomes that are in line with the ASPENS
Core Values, Ethos and Vision.






About You:



Do you:

* Have a good and up to date knowledge of regulatory and legislative requirements?

Can you:

* Conduct regulatory-based desk top and onsite audit visits of Adults, Children’s and support services to ensure they are
operating in line with statutory requirements and nationally agreed best practice?
* Provide robust and informative reports for RAG rated audits, Complaints, Compliments and Serious Incidents as requested by
either the Exec, Senior Leadership Team or Board of Trustees?
* Assist with the writing, review and implementation of Policies and Procedures?
* Assess and analyse information from a range of sources, to identify trends in respect of risks that may impact on standards of
quality and safety?
* Support managers to demonstrate continuous improvement and innovation within their service/s by supporting them in becoming an
outstanding service?
* Work as part of a team?
