The Halley Academy is seeking to appoint a Midday Supervisor to join us as soon as possible. You will be working as part of a team, assisting the Academy Leadership Team in ensuring the safety and welfare of pupils during the midday lunch break. We pride ourselves on having a diverse and dynamic staffing body of committed, creative and hardworking support staff who enjoy coming to work as they benefit from:

A committed, supportive and successful team.
Opportunities to collaborate with, and learn from, colleagues across the Leigh Academies Trust.
Previous experience of a role in an educational setting is desirable. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.

We’d like to hear from you if you are keen to:

Support students to behave calmly, sensibly and safely during lunchtime, in accordance with our Academy values.
Contribute to the overall ethos, work and aims of the Academy.
Establish constructive relationships and communicate with other staff professionally.

The working hours will be 12.15pm – 2.15pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and 11.30am - 1.30pm on Wednesday, during term time only. Our ideal candidate, due to the nature of the role, will live locally to the school and have a flexible approach to working.
