Summary
KPI Recruiting are on the look out for a Sous Chef for our client based in the Edinburgh area.
As a Sous Chef you will be working Friday- Wednesday, working the hours 12:00- 22:00.
The rat of pay as a Sous Chef is:
• £17.00 p/h
Duties and responsibilities as a Sous Chef are:
• The role will involve supporting the Chef aswell as kitchen assistant duties
• To supervise the smooth running of the kitchen in the absence of the Chef Manager
• To prepare and cook food for presentation to the service users
• To assist the Chef Manager in the planning of menus to achieve and maintain budgeted food cost.
• To carry out stocktaking and food rotation procedures under the instruction of the Chef Manager
• To comply with statutory regulations concerning food hygiene, COSHH and Health and Safety at Work.
• To make sure that food waste is minimised
PPE which is needed for a Sous Chef:
• Chef whites
• Safety Shoes
• Knifes
