We have a fantastic opportunity for a Domiciliary Care Registered Manager, based in Barnham, West Sussex, supporting clients across the surrounding areas.

We are a unique organisation trusted to successfully deliver safe, timely and innovative Domiciliary Care. As the Registered Manager at Optimal Future, you’ll play a vital role in managing and delivering current services and actively developing new service solutions for older people living with dementia within their own homes. Your passion, integrity and commitment to both what we do and how we do it, will make our vision for excellence a reality for our clients, their families and our Optimal team members.

Main duties include:

- To take responsibility as a Registered Manager, using your strong background and previous experience as a manager in a growing branch.
- Ensuring full CQC compliance with all required regulations, and demonstrating commitment through quality and performance to gain an ‘Outstanding’ rating.
- Strategically building and developing the business, and planning ahead though your knowledge and experience.
- To grow and develop services and maximising referral opportunities.
- To identify marketing opportunities, and develop a marketing plan.
- To manage projects that will improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the service.
- Compassionately and fairly manage, support, coach and mentor the team, involved in provision of the service.
- To ensure that there is a co-ordinated and consistent approach to our service provision that is cost effective and efficient, making the best use of allocated resources.
- To be routinely involved in a range of staff management issues.
- Responsibility for the safe delivery and accurate recording of care data in line with legislation, the CQC, and our Company policies.
- Being prepared to work flexibly to ensure the safe delivery of the service, rolling up your sleeves when required.

You will be:

- Excellent in time management and reliability.
- Understanding of the needs of people who require care and support at home.
- Competent to use best practice regarding provide high quality person-centred care.
- Skilled to carry out regulatory responsibilities of a Registered Manager.
- Understanding of the law and regulations relating to care services.
- Able to maintain confidentiality in relation to clients, our people and the Company.
- Able to follow safeguarding procedures.
- Ability to plan, organise and prioritise yours’s and your team’s workload and effectively to meet deadlines.
- Experienced in leading and managing your team through substantial growth and development.
- Local geographic knowledge of the West Sussex area would be advantageous.
