Summary

Head of Digital Product Solutions – Pensions

Home based with occasional travel to Darlington, Sheffield and London

At Capita Pensions Solutions we are driving a digital first agenda and we are looking for a Head of Digital Product Solutions to lead on the delivery of the digital strategy by proving insight, direction and educating wider teams in the changes needed to achieve our strategic targets.

The successful individual will need to have a good understanding of digital product management and lead the product team, initially the successful candidate will lead a blended product team that includes design and product resources, working closely with the Head of CX/UX for pensions, to define and move towards an optimal operating model by the end of 2025.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the implementation of the Pensions Solutions Digital Strategy, identifying priority areas for enhancement, improvements and programme focussed change agenda.
• Work collaboratively with clients and across Pensions Solutions, the wider division and IT to agree the appropriate technology required to meet our strategic ambition on digital capability and straight through processing of customer demand
• Own the Digital change backlog ensuring it is continuously developed and prioritised in line with our strategy and business needs
• Sponsor ongoing digital investment to ensure we achieve our digital strategy and recognise that investment in digital products underpins our growth and retention of Clients
• Champion digital product management and delivery, working with Design, IT and change to achieve product focused delivery and achieve the target operating model
• Close engagement with Communications and Engagement teams on maximising the launch impact of digital capability and then the ongoing review of data and insight to feedback on incremental enhancements required, building effective backlogs of prioritised improvement work across core digital assets
• Senior Stakeholder management internally and externally across the organisation and with clients/suppliers

Key tasks include

• Define and own the pensions digital strategy and ensure that the defined Digital Roadmap and development drives towards the Pension digital strategy
• Support client engagement to define future needs as well and individual clients demands, understanding how our products and strategy help them achieve their digital ambition.
• Follow propositional methodology and governace for new product and proposition development in digital.
• Develop and draw upon capability from wider Capita to enhance product offerings including Behavioural and data analytics
• People manage and lead a team of UX and product resources
• Interact with clients and internal teams, prepare and chair internal and external steering groups.
• Sponsor change projects that are aligned to the digital strategy and work closely with change teams to ensure the committed outcomes are achieved
• Attend operational governance boards to ensure that any digital change requested is prioritised and appropriate

What are we looking for

• An experienced Digital Product leader that has owned and driven a digital product strategy in a pensions environment
• Pensions product knowledge
• Able to relationship manager and influence internal stakeholders
• Strong client relationship management skills at a senior level
• Experience of working in an Agile environment
