Summary
The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust is looking to recruit a Stockroom Assistant to work with a small friendly team at the Warehouse. This is a 20 hour per week part-time contract and the contract duration is from Monday 17 June 2024 concluding on Sunday 3 November 2024.
This role is fast paced and, in an environment, where everyone works towards the same goals. The successful applicant will work with the Stockroom Team Leader to ensure goods are correctly received from suppliers. Products will be checked to ensure they meet the company’s quality standards before storing in a structured manner complying with health and safety regulations. You will pick replenishment stock, pack and load the company van before driving to the retail shops to deliver.
To be successful in this role you will need to be able to show initiative to problem solving and be prepared to get the job done. You will need to create despatch notes using our epos system therefore IT literacy is required. You should hold a clean and current driving licence.
Experience of working in a stockroom or retail environment would be beneficial but is not essential as full training will be provided. It can by physically demanding work, but no two days are the same and the atmosphere in the stockroom is a positive one.
