Experience within Public Sector Procurement is a necessity for this role.
Your new role
In this role you will be:
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders on the organisation's procurement processes
- Mentoring and supporting junior members of staff
- Analysing expenditure records and creation of market plans
- Managing high-value tenders and monitoring the category's procurement process
- Managing supplier performance and KPIs
- Overseeing contracts
What you'll need to succeed
A successful candidate will have:
- Experience within public sector procurement (essential)
- MCIPS qualification (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in people management
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- Hands on procurement and tendering experience
