Summary
A lovely school in Benfleet for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities are actively seeking a Learning Support Assistant with previous experience supporting students with a variety of SEND including autism, severe learning difficulties and physical difficulties.
The school caters for up to 190 learners aged between 3 and 19 who have been diagnosed with autistic spectrum disorder or significant physical/sensory impairments. They aim to provide all learners with the tools that they need to enjoy a meaningful adult life.
This role is starting in November 2022 and is full time on a long-term contract.
The right candidate must have experience supporting students with ASD. You also must be inspiring and enthusiastic about supporting students with SEND. Many learners require high levels of support, which may include personal and health care needs so any previous experience with this would be beneficial.
To be considered part of this supportive and caring school you must:
- Have previous experience in SEND, specifically ASD and PMLD
- Be motivating and passionate about your role as an LSA
