We are a very Dedicated, Highly motivated, and Dynamic team. We offer a range of Psychological Therapies/Psychosocial Interventions and have a comprehensive training programme across the directorate. We have regular in house training and clinical supervision with our two Clinical Psychologists.

We work very closely with Service users and families, offering family interventions and carer education/support. We value Service User involvement and encourage participation in service developments on many levels including opportunities for peer support roles.

The post involves the provision of specialist psychological assessment and psychological therapy (cognitive behaviour therapy) primarily for young people (although our age range is 14-35 years) considered to be at high risk of developing serious mental health difficulties (e.g. psychosis) or presenting with first episode psychosis. Our Early Intervention Service works with those with At Risk Mental State (ARMS).

Greater Manchester Mental Health (GMMH) Foundation Trust employs over 6,400 members of staff, who deliver services from more than 160 locations.

We provide inpatient and community-based mental health care for people living in Bolton, the city of Manchester, Salford, Trafford and the borough of Wigan, and a wide range of specialist mental health and substance misuse services across Greater Manchester, the north west of England and beyond.
