Summary

Develop, facilitate and deliver teaching sessions within specialist subjects to students within services. Develop standard operating procedures relating to clinical practice and education as appropriate. To contribute to the writing of concise and clear reports and documents. To support the recording, collating and sharing of information as required. Contribute to the monitoring of Practice Assessors and Practice Supervisors, placement databases and placement profiles to ensure quality assurance of areas. To assist, though regular audit, any gaps in quality of service or performance deficits and processes and report to the Clinical Placement Facilitators. Identify any issues with student performance and feed back to the Clinical Practice Facilitators for action. To contribute to policy and service changes as required. To actively promote to learners and upholding of policies, procedures, guidelines and directives, along with relevant statutory measures and governmental directive Ensure that practice is evidence-based paying particular attention to the Trusts guidelines, policies, protocols and pathways. Be available for individual supervision with agreed clinical supervisor in line with Trust policies. Plan and organise own daily activities in line with service need, undertaking quarterly reviews. Utilise enhanced communication and facilitation skills when delivering training and development sessions to ensure effective transfer of knowledge. To communicate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure required information is accurate. To establish and maintain effective working relationships within the Trust in order to meet service requirements and support and demonstrate the Trusts values. Provide and receive information orally, in writing or electronically. Responsible for effective communication with a range of disciplines. Maintain accurate records where frequent concentration will be required. Respond to queries ensuring appropriate means of communication is used and report to senior member of the team as necessary. To establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Trust in order to meet service requirements supporting and demonstrating the Trust values. To influence and negotiate with multi-disciplinary teams and external partners to deliver personalised quality services.
