Summary
1. Assist with the development and delivery of the Trustwide clinical audit programme, ensuringthat audits cover national and Trust priorities.2. Support the development and implementation of Trust wide clinical audit policies across theTrust to underpin the delivery of the Quality Strategy.3. Provide support and education to healthcare professionals in the development of clinical auditproject methodologies and provide advice on all aspects of clinical audit project design, datacollection methods, analytical support, and interpretation of audit results.4. Develop an understanding of clinical audit, evidence based healthcare and clinicaleffectiveness and become experienced in clinical audit methodology and facilitation.5. Develop methodologically rigorous clinical audit programmes within relevant specialties incollaboration with Clinical Leads, relevant committees, and management.6. Liaise and negotiate with clinical staff, at all levels, to agree audit project methodologies,including project design, data collection methods and analytical support.7. Produce reports pertaining to clinical audit activity undertaken and ensure the dissemination of reports is undertaken effectively and subsequent action plans are developed andimplemented to improve inefficiencies in healthcare and services provided.8.
