Overview:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Care Workers. As a Care Worker, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care, ensuring their well-being and comfort. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

Responsibilities:

- Provide personal care and assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming

- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques when necessary

- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals

- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel

- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary requirements are met

- Engage in activities with clients to promote socialization and mental stimulation

- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients

- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients

- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to develop and implement care plans

Experience:

- Previous experience in home care, senior care, or assisted living is preferred

- Knowledge of behaviour management techniques is an asset

- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required

- Experience with meal preparation and basic medical procedures is desirable

- Familiarity with nursing home or hospital settings is advantageous

Requirements:

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Compassionate nature and genuine desire to help others

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
