Summary
Position: Computer Science Teacher
Location: Enfield
Step Teachers are working with a school that are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Computer Science Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Computer Science courses to students, fostering a deep understanding of key concepts and skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons that cater to a diverse range of student abilities and learning styles.
- Create hands-on activities and projects that allow students to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel empowered to explore and experiment with Computer Science concepts.
- Provide constructive feedback and support to students as they work on coding assignments, projects, and assessments.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate Computer Science across the curriculum and promote interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
- Stay abreast of developments in the field of Computer Science education and incorporate innovative teaching methodologies into classroom practice.
Qualifications:
- QTS or equivalent qualification.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
- Teaching certification or relevant experience in education.
- Strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, and software development principles.
- Computer Science Teacher with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for inspiring a love of Computer Science in students of all backgrounds.
