Join Our Dynamic Team as a Business Development Manager in Land Freight

Are you a talented Business Development Manager with a proven track record in securing major business deals? Do you have in-depth industry knowledge within European Land Transport/Freight? Are you skilled at building relationships, identifying new opportunities, and exceeding sales targets? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our growing and successful team!

Location: Glasgow. This role will involve travel to clients as well as some home working.

Salary: Competitive, including a car allowance, sales incentive bonus, and comprehensive benefits package

What will you be doing?

As a Business Development Manager you will;

  • Source, develop, and secure new land business from potential national and local key customers
  • Work closely with Product/Business Unit Management in Land, engaging upfront to ensure a greater win ratio.

This role offers a superb opportunity for a sales professional like you to make a significant impact.

About You

  • Proven sales track record, consistently exceeding targets and onboarding major new business deals.
  • Extensive industry knowledge within European Land Transport/Freight.
  • An understanding of Customs Clearance and Incoterms.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills
  • Ability to identify and successfully close new business opportunities.
  • Exceptional organisational skills
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Commercially aware and skilled in negotiating at a high level.
