As a Radiology Assistant, you will:

  • Facilitate our high-quality ultrasound service ensuring a high level of patient care, respect and dignity.

  • Undertake appointment bookings.

  • Work closely with our Consultant Radiologists, Radiographers and Administration team.

  • Be involved with clinical audit and other administrative duties relating to your role.

  • Accurately input data into radiology software CRIS, patient management software PIMS to ensure correct billing of patients.

  • Provide a service of the highest quality, delivered with sensitivity and compassion.

To succeed as a Radiology Assistant, you will have:

  • Level 2 Qualification in Healthcare.

  • Experience within a work environment, preferably within a customer focused / people focused setting.

  • Basic IT skills.

  • A caring nature - to see each patient as an individual and carry out this role with understanding and empathy.

  • Willingness to undertake non-clinical tasks to ensure the safe and effective running of the Radiology department.

  • Work well within a close, supportive team. Willing to go the extra mile to ensure the patient has a positive experience.

  • Attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.
