Join Our Team as a Behaviour Learning Support Assistant!
We are currently seeking a resilient Behaviour LSA to join an excellent Primary and Secondary PRU. This full-time, long-term role starts in September and will run for the remainder of the academic year, with the potential for extension. The position offers a competitive pay rate of £80.00 to £100.00 per day on PAYE.
About the Role:
As a Behaviour LSA, you will provide support across various classes, catering to a range of ages and abilities. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the class teacher in addressing the educational and social needs of pupils. This includes organising class activities, managing challenging behaviour, and performing one-on-one and group work to keep students engaged and progressing.
The PRU is conveniently located less than a five-minute walk from St John's Wood Station.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience supporting young people with challenging behaviour and/or SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) difficulties.
- Previous experience as a TA, LSA, or in a similar support role within a school, PRU, Alternative Provision, or other child-related setting.
- An open-minded, positive, and friendly approach.
- A caring and professional manner.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
