Summary

Aggregate Industries Ashbourne Driver – Class 1 HIAB Crane

PERMANENT ROLE - Monday to Friday – EARN UP TO £54,228.20 per annum!!

We are looking for committed and reliable Class 1 HIAB/Crane Driver’s, to join our Aggregate Industries contract based out of Ashbourne.

This is a permanent role paying £17.07 per hour with the following:

  • Start times between 05:00 – 06:00
  • Shift pattern - Monday to Friday
  • 23 days holiday + Bank Holidays
  • Minimum of 2 nights out per week, however 4 nights out a week would be IDEAL

Premiums:

  • £18.21ph – for hours worked between 18:00 and 0400hrs
  • £18.26ph – For hours worked on Bank Holidays
  • £26.00 – per Night out

Basic Salary - £39,943.80pa – Based on 45 hours a week with no further uplifts

Potential Salary - £51,524.20pa - Based on 55 hours and 2 nights out per week

Potential Salary - £54,228.20pa - Based on 55 hours and 4 nights out per week

You will be required to deliver Block paving and general concrete products to construction sites within the UK, working on multiple construction contracts driving an Artic or drawbar, operating a HIAB crane.

For every driver that you refer, you can earn an impressive £1,000 (subject to conditions)

What we expect from our drivers:

  • You will be responsible for the accurate and timely movement and delivery of our customers’ products, servicing the Construction sector.
  • Ensuring all documentation is completed accurately with attention to detail.
  • Adhering to safe working practices to ensure the safety of yourself and others at all times.
  • Complying with all relevant legislation in line with Drivers Hours and Working Time Directive requirements.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid Class 1/HGV1 licence
  • Must hold a valid driver CPC and Digi tacho card.
  • Must be fully flexible on working hours.
  • Must have a good geographical knowledge.
  • ALLMI accredited preferred, but not essential
  • Draw-Bar experience is an advantage
  • Minimum 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience preferred but will consider applications with less experience provided applicant can demonstrate there has been solid Class 2 experience.
  • A valid HIAB/Crane licence & recent experience is an advantage however we will accept applications from drivers who are looking to learn a new skill and undertake the required training to gain the ALLMI accreditation. NB. Training agreement will be incorporated.
