Summary

Software Engineer

London Bridge (2 days office based, 3 days remote working)

Up to £80,000

Hyde is looking to recruit a Software Engineer.

As a Software Engineer at Hyde, you will work within our Technology team with responsibility for the design, development, testing and deployment of data integration solutions that seamlessly connect various line of business (LOB) applications, data sources and platforms to enable data flow between them.

Responsibilities

Analyse and understand line of business systems, their architecture, and data models.
Design and implement integration solutions to connect various line of business systems and enable data flow between them.
Collaborate with other technology teams to ensure seamless integration between systems and data platforms.
Work alongside cloud architecture and support teams to design and implement solutions that are scalable, secure and performant.
Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards of code quality and thoughtful design.
Implement continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines where appropriate.
Monitor and troubleshoot integration platform, identify root cause, fix and document problems, and implement preventative measures.
Maintain documentation and provide support to stakeholders.
Ensure data quality and accuracy in integrated systems.
Key skills and experience

Proven experience in software engineering.
Proficiency in functional programming languages such as Python, Confluent/Kafka.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
