Castle Hill Hospital/Hull Royal Infirmary

A vacancy has arisen in the Therapy Service for a Secretary. The post will work at Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital to support the Therapy service.

Do you have excellent communication and organisational skills and possess a high standard of computer literacy. Do you thrive in an environment with a busy workload and numerous conflicting priorities where no two days are alike? Is yes, then this could be the post for you.

As a Therapy Secretary you will support the operational management of the Therapy service to ensure the service operates efficiently and effectively.

The post holder is responsible for providing secretarial support to meet the needs of the Therapies Senior Management team. Must have well-developed interpersonal skills, be experienced in managing a heavy workload, demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, have a flexible approach to workload, manage numerous diaries, minute taking, setting up and managing data bases and organising meetings.

The post holder must be willing to learn new skills and use their own initiative. The successful candidate must possess a high standard of computer literacy.

Please note that this advertised vacancy does not meet the UKVI eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa and therefore HUTH would not be able to issue a Certificate of Sponsorship for this role.

The post involves a wide range of duties, often working to deadlines, so the successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills, demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, be able to manage numerous diaries, organise meetings as well as set up and manage data bases.

The successful candidate will work jointly with other Therapy secretaries to meet the needs of the service therefore well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team is essential.

The post holder must be willing to learn new skills and use their own initiative.

Candidates should have excellent communication skills, as the successful applicant will be expected to liaise with staff at all levels.
