Summary


We are recruiting for a Band 6 Team Leader Aseptic Services for 12 months who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a keen and reliable individual to join the Pharmacy Aseptic Unit at Arrowe Park Hospital, Wirral.

This position will involve working within the Pharmacy team and alongside a multi-disciplinary team of health and wellbeing professionals to deliver high quality services to patients. A key part of this role will be to provide administrative and clerical support to the pharmacy aseptic unit.

You will partake in an in-house training program of development to ensure high standards of patient care are maintained and will have the opportunity to be involved in service development and procedures implementation of our aseptic services.

The Job Description outlines the roles of an Aseptic Services Team Leader Technician. You will provide support to the Chief/Deputy Chief Technicians and other senior Aseptic Services staff carrying out ordering, stock control, cleaning and monitoring of the aseptic facility.

You will also work in the support areas of the aseptic suite setting up product trays for products to be made and carrying out the compounding of aseptic products.

You will be required to communicate complex Information effectively; verbally, in writing and where appropriate using electronic formats, with colleagues, customers and staff from other professions on Aseptic products and supervision related issues.

Concentration will be required for periods of two hours or longer, session ally, to observe and supervise product preparation and complete documents. Carry out self and in –process checks throughout the production process.

This position is a fixed term contract for 12 months to cover maternity leave.
