Job Description:
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to work on-site at one of the most prominent construction projects in the UK? Toorak Limited is seeking an On-Site Operative to join our team, primarily travelling to Hinkley Point C sites, around Bristol and Bridgwater but based at our Cheltenham premises.
Key Responsibilities:
On-Site Support: Provide essential assistance to on-site asset management operations at Hinkley Point C Sites, including but not limited to material handling, shrink wrapping, applying covers, offering ongoing care and maintenance, delivering packaging solutions, applying sensors for remote monitoring
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and site-specific requirements to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Equipment Operation: Utilise equipment and tools safely and efficiently. Possession of an IPAF license would be advantageous.
Logistics Support: Assist with the transportation and distribution of materials and equipment as needed.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues and contractors to support project goals and deadlines, contributing to a collaborative and productive work environment.
Requirements:
Driving Licence: Possession of a valid driving licence is required for transportation purposes.
Experience: Similar work experience preferred, must be a team player willing to learn some exciting and valuable new skills.
Physical Fitness: The role involves lifting, carrying, and working in physically demanding conditions, so a good level of physical fitness is required. Be comfortable working at heights.
CSCS Card: (Preferable) CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) training can be provided.
IPAF License (Preferable): While not mandatory, an IPAF (International Powered Access Federation) license would be advantageous for operating powered access equipment on-site.
