We are looking for a qualified nurse to join our care team here at Burlington.
We are proud to be rated as Outstanding by CQC and are looking for more of the best to join our team! We are in the process of adding a nursing wing to our care complex and require nurses to help staff this.

We specialise in dementia care and EOL/Palliative care and the position will involve you being in charge and accountable of the shifts you work.
As a nurse in charge of the shift, you will be overall responsible for the resident's care, staff on duty within the home with Senior Carers each unit for support alongside Line Manager and Clinical Lead, night shifts with support of two Senior Care Assistants and five Care Assistants per night.
Shifts available Days or Nights. We have two or three shifts per week available (12 hours paid).
DUTIES: Tasks may vary but will include:
Assisting residents with personal care.
Medication rounds – Administering.
Writing up the daily notes at the end of the shift that has needed your attention.
Ensuring that all documentation is detailed and complete including food/fluid charts and repositioning charts.
Check any residents that the staff team are concerned about or may need a nurse presence.
Assisting the Senior Care Assistants with Inducting new care staff.
Assist in reviewing and clinical care residents may need in the night sections of the care plan.
Taking charge of any health emergency following our procedures.
Checking of any wounds or injuries and completing the daily body map forms.
Assist Senior Care Assistants with updating and communicating with families for residents who are unwell or receiving end of life care.
Escalating any medical concerns to relevant health professionals.
Attending Monthly clinical staff meetings led by the Care Home Manager and Deputy.
Attending any emergency bell situations where you will assess and treat the resident accordingly. This includes falls, skin wounds and dressing changes.
Receiving/Giving handover to/from the next or previous shift nurse.
When on shift you are part of the team complement and as such are required to help and assist with all aspects of residents’ care
