Summary
As the Director of Submarine’s Health, Safety and Environmental Protection Cell Assurance Officer you will be responsible for:
Supporting the delivery and maintenance of the Director Submarine's SEMP(s) against requirements of Defence policy and Regulations for HS&EP and in particular Navy Command Safety Environmental Management System.
Co-ordinate and plan a programme of 1st and 2nd Party Assurance audits looking at safety and environmental compliance within the Submarine Domain and as directed by HSEP Manager
Conduct data gathering on safety performance as determined by organisations SEMP and assure safety and environmental regulatory compliance, with non-conformances identified and corrective action tracked on behalf of the HSEP Manager.
Support the Hierarchy of HS&EP policy appropriate to the organisation; track and record any delegations, and issue updates as required.
The HS&EP Assurance Officer is accountable to the HS&EP Manager.
