SEND Teaching Assistant required - Morpeth - £90 - £105 per day

Are you a SEND Teaching Assistant with a passion to encourage progression in your pupils?

This exciting SEND Teaching Assistant vacancy is the perfect opportunity if you are looking for more flexibility and a placement in a good school in Morpeth.

This rewarding role is to start September 2024 and will potentially continue for the full academic year.

SEND Teaching Assistant responsibilities and duties:

- You will be required to provide support to small groups and on a one-on-one basis and monitor the student's progress.

- You will at all times implement school policies and procedures and manage the classroom and behaviour.



SEND Teaching Assistants of all levels and experience will be considered for this role, including NQTs.

To be considered for the SEND Teaching Assistant role you should have:

· Recognised teaching qualification PGCE or equivalent (QTS).

. Experience supporting SEN students in a working environment and a genuine passion for supporting their diverse needs.

· Excellent communication skills and the ability to quickly build positive relationships with both staff and students.

· The ability to assist the classroom teacher in implementing IEPs for students with SEN.



SEND Teaching Assistant Salary and Benefits:

· Competitive rates of pay from between £90 to £105 per day (AWR Compliant).

Additional requirements:

· Reference details will be requested prior to registration.

· Current DBS registered with the DBS Update Service - if you do not have a DBS registered online, we will provide full assistance in getting you one.
