Summary
Your role:
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager you will carry out
reactive and preventative planned maintenance activities on
all plant equipment and services. In the event of problems,
faults and failures you should carry out effective troubleshooting using specialist knowledge and fault finding techniques to
restore production as soon as practicably possible.
Carry out periodic inspection, testing & calibration on electrical
equipment.
Carry out a range of industrial project work on low voltage,
extra low voltage, data cable systems & control cabinet construction.
Day and Shift positions available.
Day positions work Monday – Friday 37.5 hours
Shift positions work 12 hours per shift and are based on either 3
or 4 shifts per week, according to pattern including some Night
shifts and Weekend working.
Your profile:
You will be a motivated time served industrial electrician
having recognised Electrical Engineering qualifications,
through serving an Engineering Apprenticeship
(preferably to HNC level), plus current relevant
experience working in an industrial location. Excellent
problem solving / fault finding skills are essential.
Experienced with working on PLC systems (such as
SIEMENS S7) and knowledge of industry 4.0 (smart
working) is desirable.
Knowledge of energy management to ISO 50001 an
advantage, as well as some experience with performing
mechanical maintenance activities.
Right to work in the UK is essential
