The Role
The College Catering Department invites applications for a Breakfast Chef position, to prepare and cook a modern style breakfast & brunch menu for our café and B&B offering as well as other foods as required. You will work as a member of the wider kitchen team focusing on the café breakfast options as well as some lighter preparation for other café items as needed.
The College’s busy catering department serves a varied style of food daily to students, staff, Fellows and guests with breakfast being one of them. You will have some experience as a chef as well as some knowledge of brunch style foods, with a keen desire to provide great food that is well presented, have good attention to detail and the ability to provide an input in new ideas together with the senior chefs.

This is a part-time role, 20 hours per week, working Monday to Friday (circa 7am – 11am).

The salary for this part-time position is £12,959.50 per annum (£25,919.00 FTE).

Gonville & Caius College is one of the largest Colleges in the University of Cambridge.
