Summary

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to be capable of following an establised project governance framework and have a structured approach to manage the project. You must collaborate with other departments and external agencies, including the Client, to define, prioritise, and develop projects.

You will have excellent attention to detail, possess excellent analytical skills and have a construction, building services or facilities management background. You will also have great communication and stakeholder management skills.

Main Duties

-Responsible for overall project management from feasibility to completion.

-Producing scope of works

-Reviewing design and scope information

-Liaising with design team, key stakeholders, client and end users

-Ensure designs and projects comply with statutory and mandatory regulations and compliance

-Carry out post-contract project delivery to ensure deadlines and programmes are met

-Management of sub-contractors on site

-Liaise closely with commercial department on financial aspects of project delivery

-Manage own workload while meeting KPIs to submit prices to client in accordance with contract timescales

The Idea Candidate

-The ideal candidate would have a bachelor's degree in construction related field and professional membership such as RICS or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in the industry.

-Strong working knowledge of MS Project and Microsoft Office 365 suite.

-You must have a clear understanding of the statutory regulations relating to CDM.

-An ability to demonstrate and to take the lead with excellent communication skills.

-NEC Accredited Project Manager (desirable)

-Experience of working on Defence projects (desirable)

-Understanding of current building regulations / Scottish technical handbook

-Full time position

-5% site allowance paid (paid monthly)

-10% tour bonus (12 monthly)

-33 days annual leave plus Falkland Islands Bank Holidays

-Return flights to UK for leave period ( twice per year)
