Summary
This developer is a leader in the renewable energy sector and one of the world's largest wind and solar energy producers globally.
In this key Design Role, you will work in conjunction with the development and construction teams on designs and analysis of Solar, Wind, and BESS projects at different phases within the project lifecycle, you will create and implement best practices engineering vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve business performance and further the development of utility-scale Renewable Energy projects across the UK.
SUPPORT TO M&A PROCESS:
- Collaborate with Business Engineering and Construction Area to perform Technical Due Diligences to acquire projects in different levels of Development performing CapEx estimations, risk analysis, technical reports…
ENGINEERING MANAGEMENT:
- Execution of the development of engineering and designs in the different stages: pre-design, basic, executive, and tender projects, supervising technical feasibility assuring the highest technical standards and project-specific conditions are carried out.
- Initiate and develop creative and innovative engineering processes.
- Ensure strong communication between local E&C teams and Corporate Areas to facilitate the exchange of information and to implement change, improvements, and best practices.
REQUIRED PROFILE
ACADEMIC LEVEL
- Engineering degree in electrical, civil works or similar.
REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- At least 3 years’ experience in the design of different kinds of projects for PV Plants, substations, and high voltage lines.
- Experience in managing and supervising engineering projects.
- Experience in coordination and planning in engineering teams and external engineering companies.
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE
- Electric and civil works knowledge.
- English language.
- Normative and regulations.
- AutoCad.
