Role: Domestic Gas Engineer
Location: Inverness and surrounding
Salary: £44,000 + OT
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the UK's biggest family run FM business on one of their brand new contract wins!!
The domestic gas engineer will be covering a multisite MOD contract, across the North of Scotland.
You would be joining part of a wider team, delivering gas service and maintenance with some small installations.
Job Responsibilities of the Domestic Gas Engineer:
• Carry out inspections, diagnose faults, fit parts and carry out repairs
• Testing and commissioning of equipment
• Undertake gas servicing as well as heat recovery units & unvented cylinders
• Complete job sheets for every task, daily log sheets and weekly time sheets
• Liaise with all stakeholders as required to ensure a high quality service is delivered
• Provide technical support and advice
• Supervise and potentially train staff
• Attend tool box talks
• Comply with company health & safety at all times
• Undertake any other duties that may arise
Experience / Qualifications of the Domestic Gas Engineer:
• Experience as a suitably qualified domestic gas engineer working in commercial or domestic properties
• Domestic gas qualifications (essential)
• Previous experience with PDA devices
• Excellent communication skills
• To be able to work as part of a team and under own imitative
• Full clean driving license
