As the Head of RE, you will play a pivotal role in upholding the school's Catholic ethos and vision while staying abreast of educational advancements to ensure the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
The school is eager to appoint a committed and experienced Head of RE for a long-term position, with the potential for permanency, focusing on Key Stage 3 (KS3) through to Key Stage 5 (KS5). This role encompasses preparing students for exams, nurturing a career-oriented mindset, and fostering employability skills. Alongside teaching responsibilities, you will contribute to policy development, maintain subject expertise, and support students both academically and personally.
The ideal candidate will possess:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialization in Religious Education
• Proven experience teaching RE up to Key Stage 5 (KS5)
• Outstanding classroom management skills and a commanding presence
