Summary

This role is known internally as “Somewhere Safe to Stay Worker.”

As part of our Housing Managed Contract, you’ll support customers accessing the Somewhere Safe to Stay Hub at the start of their pathway to rehousing. You’ll implement a triage process, complete assessments of needs, and create support plans for customers.

What you’ll be doing:
• Engaging with customers who are exiting sleeping rough.
• Completing customer triage to determine level of need, and signposting to support services
• Carrying out assessments with customers and developing personal support plans
• Undertaking needs and risk assessments with customers
What we’re looking for:
• NVQ Level 2/3 in social care, or equivalent, would be ideal
• Safeguarding knowledge
• Awareness of homelessness legislation and practice
