Summary
The Senior Structural Engineer will join a successful team in Norwich, playing a critical role in a wide range of challenging projects. This role is ideal for someone looking to leverage their experience in structural engineering to lead projects and develop innovative solutions.
The Senior Structural Engineer will lead the planning, design, and execution of structural projects, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards. They will manage resources efficiently and mentor junior engineers to foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and analysis of structural systems using various materials such as concrete, steel, masonry, and timber.
Apply relevant Eurocodes, British Standards, and CDM Regulations.
Conduct comprehensive site investigations and inspections.
Produce high-quality design drawings and reports.
Actively participate in and represent the company at design team meetings.
Mentor and support the professional development of junior team members.
Engage in business development activities to support the growth of the consultancy.
Experience & Skills Required:
Chartered Membership with the Institution of Structural Engineers preferred.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Tekla, and REVIT.
Excellent report writing skills and strong manual dexterity.
Demonstrated leadership in managing complex structural projects.
