Summary

The BIM Manager role is based in Manchester, where the appointed individual will oversee the maintenance of BIM standards across the team, ensuring all modelling and project standards are met with utmost diligence and quality.

The BIM Manager will be instrumental in coordinating and integrating BIM standards across various projects, leading the development and execution of BIM plans. This pivotal role ensures the maintenance of project quality standards from design through to construction, ensuring all phases comply with agreed RIBA work stages.

Key Responsibilities:
Standardise practices and policies across the practice by coordinating with REVIT technicians.
Establish project guidelines, standards, and protocols in collaboration with design teams.
Oversee the creation and monitoring of BIM models and MEP content, ensuring accuracy and adherence to practice and project standards.
Integrate engineering systems into the BIM process to enhance project visualisation and documentation.
Conduct audits of BIM models to ensure they meet the required level of precision and timeliness.
Provide training and support to technicians and engineers, ensuring they remain updated on best practices and new technologies.

Experience & Skills Required:

At least 2 years of experience as a BIM Manager.
Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and MagiCAD.
Excellent interpersonal and technical skills.
In-depth knowledge of BIM execution plans and standards for model delivery.
Capability to manage templates, 3D models, and associated data effectively.
