Summary

An exciting opportunity is available for an Estimator / Quantity Surveyor. Based in Central London, this role entails managing both the estimation of projects valued between £10k and £500k and overseeing the quantity surveying aspects post-award.

The successful candidate will engage closely with clients, architects, and engineers to prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions, subsequently managing the financial aspects of the project to ensure timely and budget-compliant completion.

Key Responsibilities:
Analyse project specifications, drawings, and contracts to accurately scope out requirements.
Perform site assessments to establish project needs and resource requirements.
Calculate and prepare detailed financial estimates and submit competitive tenders.
Oversee financial aspects, including budget management and cost tracking of construction projects.
Handle negotiations and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all projects.

Experience & Skills Required:
Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
Minimum of two years’ experience in construction, preferably in a similar role.
Proficient with computerised cost management systems.
Strong analytical, numerical, and negotiation skills.
Extensive knowledge of construction regulations and building standards.
