Summary
This is a 36-42 month apprenticeship with the view of the successful candidate being offered full time employment. The successful candidate will work towards a the Level 3 Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician apprenticeship standard.
Supported by your training and our team, your tasks will include:
- Mechanical and Electrical maintenance, installation, fault finding and repair
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Learning pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Learning to work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
- Responding to breakdowns of production machinery
- To assist with the completion of maintenance documents/worksheets
- Assisting with engineering projects and improvement works
- Servicing and maintaining machinery – TPM/PPM
- Support and assistance to all departments across site
- Contribute to implementing new working methods and actively take part in continuous improvement projects
- Any other associated duties as required
