Summary

The Business Development Coordinator will play a critical role in identifying and converting new business opportunities, supporting the sales team in a fast-paced environment. This role is crucial for the growth of the business, focusing on creating and maintaining robust client relationships and enhancing business outreach.

The successful candidate will assist in the development of client proposals, manage tender activities, and ensure effective communication with stakeholders at all levels. The role demands a proactive approach to identifying market trends and potential business avenues.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate with the sales team to efficiently manage and convert new business opportunities.
Monitor tender portals and update the sales pipeline, preparing for the bid/no-bid decision process.
Develop client proposals and presentations, contributing to the tender submissions.
Maintain professional relationships with clients and industry bodies, representing the brand effectively.
Attend industry events and participate in networking to build a strong pipeline of prospects.
Manage sales administrative activities, ensuring seamless communication and information flow within the sales team.

Experience & Skills Required:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Strong understanding of CRM systems and their effective application in new business activities.
Excellent negotiation, numeracy, and detailed-oriented skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain strong attention to detail.
