We have a fantastic opportunity here at Purovets for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a RCVS accredited practice in the stunning county of Staffordshire. Our client has been providing expert animal care in the area for over 3 decades and has grown into a successful 2 practice group.

Our client is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon who is adept at primary care duties and open to handling advanced procedures. Whether you excel in routine consultations or surgical interventions, their supportive environment will nurture your skills and professional growth.

Your day-to-day role would consist of 1 day of surgery, 1 day of consultations, and 2 days of a mixture of both. Our client is open to tailoring the frequency of surgery with your role to match your preference if you have a surgical or consultation bias.

Our client takes great pride in their closely-knit team and they are very supportive of each other. The team comprises of 6 experienced Veterinary Surgeons, a dedicated nurse, and front of house team. One of their Vets is currently working towards a certificate in dermatology. They are all highly motivated individuals who are passionate about their work and are committed to maintaining high standards of care for their patients. They are a sociable bunch and enjoy working together.

Their premises are light, and spacious, and have recently been renovated. They are fully-equipped with state-of-the-art technology including Digital X-ray, an In-house laboratory, Ultrasound, Dental Radiography, Operating Theatres, large kennel areas for in-patients and Large spacious reception and separate cat and dog waiting areas. This dedication has earned them Silver status in the Cat-Friendly scheme in both practices, Silver RWAF and Silver Investors in the Environment (iiE) accreditation.

The Rota:
• Full time role - 40 hours per week (Part time applications are welcomed)
• 4 day week with a set day off
• 1:3 Saturday mornings
• No OOH
