Are you seeking an exciting opportunity in Residential Childcare? Join a dynamic and expanding organization as a Deputy Manager! This role offers regular hours from 9 to 5, with occasional shifts. Earn £14.50-£14.75 per hour plus £60 for sleep-in shifts.
This provider looking for an enthusiastic and committed Deputy Manager for our 2-bed Children's Home in Stockport, dedicated to children and young people with complex needs and challenging behaviours. This is a fantastic chance to make a positive impact within a reputable organization.
The home is based Stockport, Greater Manchester, known for its historic viaduct and excellent transport links, including a major railway station and proximity to the M60 motorway.
Essential Requirements:
•Minimum 2 years' experience in a residential care setting with supervisory experience
•Clear DBS check (indicate if you're on the update service or need a full check)
•Strong teamwork skills
•Ability to perform under pressure
•Flexibility for changing shift patterns
•Level 3 or 4 qualification in Residential Childcare or equivalent
Main Responsibilities:
•Lead shifts with confidence and ensure the highest care standards
•Facilitate supervisions and support staff teams
•Actively listen and learn from young people
•Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and Ofsted standards
•Plan and organize workload effectively
•Conduct risk assessments and conflict resolution reviews
•Review performance and adjust plans to meet targets
