Summary
We currently have a number of Staff Nurse opportunities available in Saltcoats, Ayrshire. These are permanent positions, working for a respected Care provider who offer the highest standards of care to both the Elderly and Younger Adults. The service offers a multi-unit operation, caring for residents with a varying range of medical conditions.
This post is specifically for their specialist elderly units, where you will be supporting residents with Dementia and other age related conditions. To be successful within this role, you will be able to provide high standards of care, while showing empathy and respect to the residents you are supporting.
Requirements:
* You will be a fully qualified Nurse with a current NMC Pin
* NMC Registered within the specified timescale
* An Understanding of National Care Standards & Codes of Conducts
* Completion of all mandatory training requirements
* A commitment to providing a standard of care that exceeds both company and industry standards.
* Ideally you will have experience of working in care
* Drivers License would be preferred, however, not essential
Role Responsibilities:
* Supporting and guiding a team in a fast-paced environment
* Providing excellent care and support to our residents
* Ensuring the safe administration of medication in accordance with current standards
* Completing mandatory training
* Creating and carrying out person centered care plans
* Offering a safe, caring stable environment to the people we support
* Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines
* Working in partnership with the manager to ensure the smooth running of the home
* Support, guide and mentor other members of your team
