Working as the Plant Operative / Telehandler and Forklift Truck Operator you will be responsible for a range of material handling tasks, including loading and unloading materials using a Forklift Truck (FLT).
As the Plant Operative / Telehandler and Forklift Truck Operator you will be performing bulk handling tasks using a JCB, such as bucket work and operation of screeners / shredders, to ensure efficient processing of recycled materials.

DUTIES
Your duties as a Plant Operative / Telehandler and Forklift Truck Operator will include:
• You will be responsible for a range of material handling tasks, including loading and unloading materials using a Fork Lift Truck (FLT)
• Perform bulk handling tasks using a JCB, such as bucket work and operation of screeners/shredders, to ensure efficient processing of recycled materials
• Operate machinery to oversee the recycling process, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining high-quality output
• Maintain general housekeeping and ensure a safe working environment, adhering strictly to all Environmental, Health, and Safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Prioritising and promoting safety in all aspects of work
• Operate the site and production processes safely and efficiently, contributing to our commitment to sustainability and responsible waste management
• Assist with other duties as needed, collaborating with colleagues to achieve production targets and maintain a high standard of work
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
• Must have Fork Lift and Telehandler License. Holding a JCB handling license is highly desirable
• Proficient in bulk handling techniques, with previous experience in a manufacturing or recycling environment preferred
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects within set timeframes while maintaining attention to detail and quality
• Strong interpersonal skills, able to interact effectively and professionally with colleagues with minimal supervision
• Flexibility with work schedules and ability to work all shift patterns to support production demands and operational requirements
